A Associação Terapêutica do Ruído (A.T.R.) é uma entidade informal e
disforme que tem como propósito divulgar os efeitos terapêuticos do ruído.
Esta forma revolucionária de terapia permite aos pacientes libertarem-se das
tensões e frustrações do seu quotidiano através da exposição a doses maciças
e concentradas de ruído.
Fruto das mesmas mentes doentias que criaram o colectivo de terapeutas
do ruído dUASsEMIcOLCHEIASiNVERTIDAS (dSCI) e funcionando como
extensão natural do mesmo, a A.T.R. é uma espécie de gémea siamesa e
inseparável deste colectivo. Para além de partilharem a mesma origem e
os mesmos membros, têm também em comum a intenção de proporcionar
momentos de catarse terapêutica aos pacientes que se sujeitem a este
tratamento, seja com a organização de sessões terapêuticas de ruído, no caso
da A.T.R., seja com a produção directa de ruído terapêutico, no caso dos dSCI.
Surgida em meados de 2007, algures em Lisboa, a A.T.R. tem vindo a
promover diversas sessões um pouco por todo o país, dando a oportunidade a
inúmeros especialistas de exporem o seu ruído.

The Associação Terapêutica do Ruído – A.T.R. (“therapeutic association
of noise”) is an informal and shapeless entity devoted to the promotion of
the therapeutic effects of noise. This revolutionary form of therapy allows
the patients to get rid of the tensions and frustrations of daily life through the
exposure to massive and concentrated doses of noise.
Outcome of the same sick minds that created the collective of noise therapists
dUASsEMIcOLCHEIASiNVERTIDAS – dSCI (“two inverted semi-quavers”)
and working as its natural extension, the A.T.R. is like a kind of siamese and
inseparable twin of this collective. They share not only the same origin and
members, but also the intention of providing moments of therapeutic catharsis
to the patients who subject themselves to this treatment, be it through the
organization of therapeutic sessions of noise, in the case of A.T.R. or be it
through the direct production of therapeutic noise, in the case of dSCI.
Founded in 2007, somewhere in Lisbon, the A.T.R. has been hosting various
sessions all around Portugal, giving the opportunity to different experts to
present their noise.
So far the A.T.R. had the pleasure of collaborating with the following
