dSCi statement

The dUASsEMIcOLCHEIASiNVERTIDAS are back home after the third and last part of the turbulent Kebab Tour!
Meanwhile they have just released the album “4” in digital format through the
netlabel Enough Records and have also reissued their two first EPs in a deluxe
handmade edition!

After having been forced to interrupt the Kebab Tour in the beginning of May, due to a breakdown of the van where they were travelling, the dSCi went back on the road in June to do the last dates with another van and tried to postpone all the other cancelled concerts to September/October, which by many different reasons turned out to be impossible…
Nevertheless they decided to depart again for this third part and once again they managed to cause irreparable damage in the van!

Despite all the incidents the balance of the Kebab trilogy ended up being quite positive!
Between the two broken vans and the various changes of setup, they played 50 concerts in 8 countries in about 70 days, divided in three parts: the first one from the 28th of March to the 3rd of May, the second from the 7th to the 17th of June and the third from the 19th of September to the 10th of October!

The dSCi would like to thank once again to all who have organized, played, hosted and participated in any way in this crazy adventure!
And also to give a big THANK YOU to the people who have helped us to finish this third part: Stephen Levin “Benco Box” for having lent us his Benco Mobile and the drummers Hector & Marcos “Flying Pig Matanza”, Álvaro Parada, Fernando “Sincopado” and Vasco Fialho for having risked to improvise with us in the last concerts!

In the meantime the album “4”, which was released last February on vinyl in a partnership between Associação Terapêutica do Ruído, the portuguese labels A Giant Fern and Experimentáculo and the italian labels Another Shame, Eclectic Polpo, Fooltribe and Human Feather, is already available for free dowload!
This digital edition is once again published by the portuguese netlabel Enough Records,
like the rest of the collective’s discography until now.

It’s also already available the handmade reissue of their first two EPs, which were already sold out, along with some extra tracks that have come out in diverse compilations, in a deluxe edition with a cover made in silkscreen printing by the illustrator Lucas Almeida!
